2. General information on data processing
We generally only process personal data of our visitors to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and to handle enquiries. This website sets no cookies and does not embed any advertising services. Only the entry “blissSeen” is stored in your browser's session storage so that the intro animation only appears on your first visit; it contains no personal data and is deleted automatically when you close the tab (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). All transmissions are TLS-encrypted (https).
3. Hosting (Vercel)
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA ("Vercel"). When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data (including IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type) in order to deliver the website and to ensure the security and stability of operations. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel; where data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Server logs are automatically deleted by Vercel after a short period of time.
4. Analytics (Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights)
To improve our website we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These services work without cookies and without cross-device tracking: aggregated usage data is collected (e.g. page views, loading times, approximate region, device type). Visitors are only distinguished by a hash generated from the request, which is automatically discarded after 24 hours; the IP address is not stored and visitors are not personally identified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Contact and event enquiries
If you use our contact form or write to us by email, we process the data you provide (required in the form: name, email address, preferred venue and your message; optional: occasion, preferred date, number of guests) exclusively to process and respond to your enquiry. Without the required details we cannot process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The form data is delivered to us by email to sales@bliss-group.de; for the technical dispatch we use the service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Emails are sent via servers in the EU (Ireland); Resend may also process data in the USA. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. in the event of a contract) prevent deletion.
Our email mailboxes (including info@, sales@, personal@ and presse@bliss-group.de) are hosted with Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Emails to us, including messages sent via the contact form, are stored there. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google; where data is transferred to Google LLC in the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If your enquiry concerns a venue operated by another BLISS Group company (l´ab Eventlocation GmbH, Ringstraße 6, 69168 Wiesloch; Schloss Neckarbischofsheim Gastronomie GmbH; Palais Prinz Carl Gastronomie GmbH), we pass your enquiry on to that company so that it can prepare an offer (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Applications: If you apply to us by email (e.g. to personal@bliss-group.de), we process your details to carry out the application process (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). If no employment relationship results, we delete your documents no later than six months after the process has ended. The same applies if you apply via the application form on our careers page (bliss-group.de/karriere, in German): there we process your name, your email address, the position selected and — where you provide them — your telephone number, your message and an attached file (e.g. your CV). These details are not stored on our website; they are delivered as an email to personal@bliss-group.de via the email service Resend (see above in this section). If your application concerns a position with another BLISS Group company (e.g. NEO – Gastronomie GmbH, Zollhofgarten 2, 69115 Heidelberg), we pass your application on to that company (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
6. Newsletter
To receive our newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and exclusively for sending the newsletter and documenting your consent. Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after you sign up, we send you an email with a confirmation link (valid for 7 days); only once you confirm your sign-up with the button on the linked page do we add your address to the mailing list. This ensures the sign-up genuinely came from you. To document your consent, we store the time of your sign-up and of your confirmation (Art. 6 (1) (c) in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR). We also use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA; see section 5) to manage the list and send the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or informally by emailing sales@bliss-group.de. After withdrawal you will no longer receive the newsletter; your email address is only kept with an unsubscribe flag so that it is not added again by mistake (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
7. External links and services
Our website links to external services (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, Gastronaut and the websites of our houses). When you click on these links, you leave our website; the privacy policies of the respective providers apply. Content from these providers is not embedded on our website.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR, see section 9). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
9. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (hosting, analytics, enquiries), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You can object informally, e.g. by emailing info@bliss-group.de.
10. Updates to this policy
Last updated: October 2026. We will update this privacy policy as soon as the data processing on this website changes. In case of doubt, the German version of this privacy policy prevails.
